Arc of Iberia is active on the local, state, and national level. We are a family driven organization which involves volunteers, educators and professionals who are devoted to improving the quality of life for people with developmental disabilities.
Arc of Iberia is committed to securing for all people the opportunity to choose and realize their goals of where and how often they learn, live, work and play.
Our Values
Our prevailing ethic implies that work and independent choice-making is the source of much of life's satisfaction, self-support, a sense of dignity, and an improved quality of life. The Arc of Iberia is therefore striving to provide jobs, housing and personal care services and alternative therapies in the community for all mentally and physically challenged individuals who wish to participate in them.
Our ultimate goal is that we will one day live in a society that will no longer label one section as the handicapped, but will accept all persons as individuals within their own capabilities, allowing them to contribute to society as much as they are capable of contributing.
